What a heartless asshole you are, Bauman.So 13 deaths isn't enough for you? Imagine if it was your parent, your spouse, or your child who got killed by an e-Bike. You might feel differently. 13 families who lost a loved one because of a dangerous toy. And by your own data, over 1,500 people have been injured by e-Bikes. There is no information on how serious these injuries were. My friend's sister had an aspiring career as a model. She got hit by an e-Bike a few years back and her face was plastered into the sidewalk. She broke her nose and had facial lacerations. End of career. She had no recourse because it was "only an e-Bike". These are motor vehicles. They exceed 30 miles per hour in some cases. They have the power to kill and maim. They should be insured, period. |
