And in retrospect, outside of this site, and some headlines on the internets. I saw nothing yesterday that made the day unique. It has the same feeling as 7/7. I see a random headline on my browsers homepage, and I move on.But, how does one commemorate one event in an ongoing conflict that never ceases without end? Pearl Harbor is history, because the Japanese aren't bombing, and massacring large swaths of land for the past 75 years. I cannot say the same about Islam. I see, today Spain's PM wishing it could use a nuclear bomb to commit genocide. in a public address. A wheel-chair bound guy from Iraq getting stabbed in the neck during a live broadcast in France because he wasn't a muslim. What has the Japanese done? That is history. 9/11 continues everyday. |
