My 17 year old daughter said to me yesterday that to her, 9/11 is something from the history books, like WWII was to me.That is the problem. If we don't make 9/11 a federal holiday, people will forget about it. There is already a whole generation of people born after 9/11 who just don't, and can't, know the horror of that day. In addition, with NYC set to elect a radical Muslim as Mayor, its clear people are already forgetting quickly. |
