United is a Chicago company through and through.Here's hoping it stays that way but the land grab in Denver and the fact that any relocation is not "imminent" might well dash said hopes. The downtown Denver Flight Training Center went through a massive refurbishing/upgrade not that long ago yet the plan is to build a new facility over on the newly acquired property out by the airport. Then again, United recently picked up even more gates at O'Hare and is a huge economic engine for the city. cortelyounext, CU Boulder, (he/zir/them) |
