I was rather upset as the election rolled around that it was even close. One of the reasons why I could care less now that it's over is my old standby for reality - "OK, genius ... GO for it" coupled with "I live out in the sticks" ... they crash the economy, I already know how to start a fire and hunt live meat. I'd prefer to keep my house, but as long as I can find some firewood and a bridge abutment, I can do the Jeffrey Dahmer thing by eating the rich if I have to. :)But the very people whose lives revolve around the Rush idol ... heh. I can't WAIT to see their reaction when the gas station is closed and so is Pathmark. Heh. Could get VERY interesting indeed. I *love* to gawk at a train wreck. (grin) |
