"He said what he said in his speech on 1/6, including giving thumbs up to Rudy's call for trial by combat." You have interpretation v/s criminal intent. Thats for the courts to decide. "And if he didn't mean for his listeners to storm the Capitol, it sure took him long enough to tell them to leave." That is indefensible. Whatever good Trump did during his term will be obliterated by the memory of Jan 6 "...that he should be barred from ever seeking federal office, or not?" Moot. IMO, he's done with public life. |
