He repeatedly claimed the election was stolen, while his lawyers filed 62 court cases, none of which alleged fraud. He said what he said in his speech on 1/6, including giving thumbs up to Rudy's call for trial by combat. And if he didn't mean for his listeners to storm the Capitol, it sure took him long enough to tell them to leave.So the question is, is that such improper conduct that he should be barred from ever seeking federal office, or not? Compare this to Senators alleging that Clinton committed perjury about his personal sex life because he deceived through sneaky use of the word "is." |
