Unless I’m misunderstanding, then there’s where I draw a line. If you’re saying that the cop would have forcibly made you comply with a request that’s outside his authority, then I have an issue with that. Our freedoms need to be protected. I really believe that. Just because you’re willing to give up yours doesn’t give you the right to judge others that don’t. In the end, because you willingly complied with a request, not a requirement, you can’t even officially complain about being mistreated. |
