From friends who have been ADA’s in other boroughs, if they saw a record as long as Martin’s they likely would not have taken a case to a jury on only his testimony. I agree with BILLBKLYN that anybody can file a complaint or a lawsuit. What if Martin was one of many officers named in a $1,000,000+ lawsuit but the Plaintiff named every cop he/she/they came in contact with and Martin really did not do anything? That being said, this does not represent the 11%. Maybe 0.01% or less. |
