On the contrary, its you who doesn't get it. Do you think tearing down statues accomplishes anything? Do you think looting and pillaging neighborhoods will accomplish anything? Do you think that forcing Aunt Jemima to change their name gets you any closer to your goals whatever they may be. What do you think forcing TV shows or movies out of circulation does? Doing any of these things will not change the hearts or minds of anyone and will harden opinions. This is not how to win people over. |
