Prescribing drugs "off-label" is legal. Why not try it? If this disease is so frightful that it justifies shutting down schools, libraries, restaurants, theaters, and more, surely it justifies bypassing the usual steps of formal clinical trials and simply letting doctors try this now on people who are ill with the disease. Logically, if it doesn't justify doing that, it doesn't justify all the closures. |
