I’ve said it once and I’ll say it another hundred times:

PERSON OF THE YEAR IS NOT AN HONOR!

I know this is NY Times and not Time Magazine, but Hitler and Stalin have been Time Man of the Year. So was the Ayatollah Khomeini. Time Magazine really dropped the ball by making Rudy Giuliani instead of Osama Bin Ladin Person of the Year in 2001. It perpetuated the myth that only good people are POTY.
