I think the issue is still that they are still working."Work" is not what is prohibited. The Hebrew word for what is prohibited is "Melachah." The Hebrew word for work labor is "Avodah." As the former lacks a corresponding English word, it is often translated as work. Second, if they are religious, then they have all of that going on, plus family time There is a lot less going on than on another day given the prohibitions. Despite that, I agree with your post, especially as the church specifically avoided Sunday because it conflicted with their religion, why would they think that Saturday would not conflict with the hosts' religion. Fucking hypocrites. |
