The only luck I see is the "luck" of submitting an application when they were (CTA) hiring. Other than that, getting the job, KEEPING the job, earning the respect of your co-workers and supervision, comes from a desire to better your (and family's)quality of life & an inbred sense or responsibility. After all that, the reward is a good pension & deceint medical care. That said, luck has very little, if anything to do with it. And in 2019, that goes for workers of any color or gender. |
