Oxford defines luck as, "success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions." CMM put in an application; he met the initial requirements and was interviewed; and then was hired. "Luck" is my meeting my future wife when we were freshmen in college. It wasn't luck but hard work that got me into that college in the first place. |
