Chick-fil-A's support of anti-LGBTQ organizations is demonstrably harmful to SGL and trans people.. There are quite a few documented incidents where gay and lesbian couples have been asked to leave Chick-fil-A because they expressed affection by kissing--pecks on the cheek that would have gone unnoticed had a straight couple did them--by ordinary employees.

As a very relevant Facebook meme notes, if your favorite fast food chain actively supported taking away your right to choose whom you could marry, or ending your right to adopt children, you wouldn't care how good their lemonade is. You wouldn't eat there, period.

The Salvation Army, by the way, has a very long anti-LGBTQ history. That's their religious belief, but I don't have to support them financially, either.

Of course, this is OT Chat, where pointing out any of these things is equivalent to:

"Professional victim status"

"Obsession with sexual orientation"

"Demanding special rights"

"Anti-religion"...
