So tonight I go into my local 7-Eleven and notice that two guys in front of me both have non-matching tee shirts with some stuff written on them. I don't read them but notice that both shirts have variations of the word "pride" on them. I assume that they are a couple and are wearing Pride month shirts. Until that is I see the taller guy walk out and see that his shirt reads "This machine kills proud boys". I'm still equating "pride/proud" with LGBT and I'm shocked at the hate crime on display. But I quickly realize that it's some political BS and his shirt means that he kills guys that belong to the "Proud Boys". Nothing wrong with that in LA, I don't think.

So I thought of this thread and realized that "pride/proud" doesn't always mean LGBT.
