Nixon v/s Trump is apples & oranges to the extreme. Nixon was about to be booted out of office for covering up a felony. What felony is Trump covering up? Where is Trump's 18 minute tape gap? Where's Trump's "Saturday night massacre ?" Nixon had his most extreme supporters give him up, the most extreme & conservitave was Goldwater. When he turned his back on Nixon & taking the republican party with him, Nixon was toast. He was unraveling, being consumed by paranoia & alcohol.
Trump is a long way from that. He's not close to losing all republican support ala Nixon.
Face it, simply put, Trump v/s Nixon is night and day. The only way Trump is going to be booted out of office is via the 2020 election.
Besides, do you really like Pence that much?
