Confederacy was about fighting to maintain a system that saw black people as less than 3/5ths of a person, and to sell them as goods.

Nothing more or less.

Revisionist history try to make that a footnote, this isnt rose tinted glasses.

Losers dont dictate history, winners do. The north won, we tell the south what history they observe. They dont get to choose the history they wish or allowed to build monuments to traitors to the nation.
