You actually don't think that the people that live in the south, and especially the one that's got a conservative, don't know but really happened? Of course they do! Has a great analogy, and you cannot dispute this. It's like being a Mets fan at a Yankees fan during the 2000 World Series when the Yankees spanked the Mets. That is fact. That is history. However, Mets fans can still wax poetic on what if the Mets had won? What if what if what if? They can still have the 2000 season lineup shirts and action figures and statues and all of that. And you realize that the statue was of a nameless, faceless confederate soldier. A poor schmuck who had no choice but to go to war. Just like up here. |
