Without Unions we would still be working 14 hours a day, in unsafe conditions, getting fired for getting injured in those unsafe conditions, working 7 days a week making next to nothing, working till you die of old age or too old to work, no raises EVER etc etc. Without unions what benefit is it for employers to negotiate workers at all. All of these worker right have been made off the blood sweat and tears of unions. Even non unionized union hating workers benefit from the power of unions. If you want life without unions look no further than Walmart people working their butts off and still on welfare. Thats the direction this country is headed with its union hating right to work ways. Are Unions perfect? no but tell me what is. I'm Pro Union till i die and damn proud of it. |
