Bill, my wife and I went through this with my mother-in-law. She was a very simple, yet very good woman. I promised myself not to get angry at God, or anyone else. Don't hold back the tears and, if possible, try to get closer to the rest of our family and in-laws. Grief should never be shouldered alone! Your brother sounds like he was a good soul, so don't hesitate to pray to him, as well as to God. A Polish mystic once said that the dead can hear our prayers- I believe it, Bill! |
