I am far from a Cruz supporter but I find the contention that's Cruz's "New York Values" are a code for "Jewish Values" to be ridiculous left wind liberal garbage.

I agree the evidence isn't there. Phrases like New York values are used both to attack all liberals, including non-Jews from Wagner and Lindsay to Dinkins, or they can be used specifically as a code word reference to Jews. That's the brilliance of using code words - you can say you didn't mean anything by it.
