I use that method for my GPS, as the correction data comes over WiFi to bring my observations to centimeter level. Fortunately the packets of data are really small so it doesn't beat me up. And if it does, I'm getting paid for it anyway. But for recreational use, I would avoid it if possible.your pal, Fred |
