Ever since the iphone 5 came out, they'll work on any network now. Just because Verizoff refused to take part in the "Apple SIM card" and are the only carrier you can't hook up with now without going to their store doesn't mean that you're locked in anymore.

And AT&T is really good old Southwestern Bell Telephone of Texas. They bought the name. They're great in the northeast, they blow goats everywhere else.
