Wrong. They are building an SUV at their existing plant, not a new one.

They had planned to build a new plant for that vehicle according to a months old article WRT unionization at the plant, which management desired. THAT was the issue at the time, yet you nor your lnked article say anything of that or its resolution. In the abscence of fact, that remains unresolved.

What they are doing may preserve existing jobs, a new plant, the fate of which remains unknown, would expand employment. There's a big difference there. This isn't about who's making what, it's about employment and opportunity. But it figures you couldn't see beyond the one dimension. OCD.
