That's pretty much what THEY were saying until Putin pulled the surprise. What they still don't want is the US marching in, that was their biggest fear because it would allow Putin to justify it. He did anyway. :(And no, they weren't all that concerned about Crimea since that was all Russian, all the time anyway. Gift from Khrushchev in the 50's. Right now though, Putin's talking about taking back Odessa which is on the other side of the Dnieper. He's calling Ukraine "Novorossia" (New Russia) now claiming that the formation of Ukraine back in the 20's was an error. :( |
