But with the Arab Spring, isn't that what the Arabs did, come to a decision on their own? The hatred of their kleptocracies had been simmering for decades, until finally something set it off. Of course, after you depose the government and all the bureaucracy, you have to come up with something else, and the citizens probably didn't think that far.The Russian government, of course, isn't nearly as weakened or as willing to look the other way with the "non-profits". |
