Absolutely ... if you're going to "bring democracy" the least you can do is teach how it works and what it means first. In many places over there, once folks could vote, they kinda voted "wrong" ... seems the only place so far where things didn't go horribly wrong was Tunisia so far. PNAC went in to numerous places, got everybody worked up and no clue as to where to go next. We liberated Iraq from Saddam and handed it to Iran. We went into Afghanistan and Pakistan and handed BOTH to the Taliban ... that's why the folks over in Ukraine are kinda ... please don't help us. :) |
