They're just sitting there in cases.Halal ones, vegeterian ones, thai chicken, ratatoullie, tetrazzini etc. I was in the Army at the wrong time -- at least food-wise. :( They had a food rotation, for example, 12 of the 30 dinner meals per month were supposed to be pork. You ate what was served. Whether it was very good or nearly inedible pretty much depended on the mess sergeant. But ... are there no more Army cooks and mess staff? No KP? |
