Nope. Not really anyway.
Too expensive.

Even a lowly private costs a hell of a lot more than some low-wage contracted worker when you consider pay, benefits, pensions, family services, housing etc.

A waste of human resourses too.

It was different when they had a surplus of cheap draftees in your time.

They still have people who can volunteer to be trained to do food service in cases of emergencies.

The stuff brought into FOBs in combat zones or out in the field is also contractor-made though soldiers may service it if it's too dangerous for contractors to come out there.

They may still have KP in basic training for old-time sake. Not sure.

I think the only branch that still has real cooks and chefs is the Navy.

I know that the Army and Air Force people who volunteer to train for food service qualificiation go to the Navy's school.

Other than that, the days of Beetle Bailey are long over.
