Go back to some of the threads here shortly after the attack. Start with this one -- http://www.subchat.com/otchat/read.asp?Id=987887 -- and you'll see that many people were jumping on the bandwagon that it was this "right-wingers" fault that the Ambassador had been killed.

Susan Rice going on TV 5 times the next day to blame the YouTube video was in order to sustain that sentiment when the administration already knew it wasn't true.
