It's certainly possible to believe that God started the universe by setting off the Big Bang.

Not really. My point is that it's no big deal if you believe He did. Whether the universe was created 15 billion years ago in a giant explosion or over a 6 day period in the month of October of 4004 BC, it's not worth hating over, or killing over.
