Just got the word this morning, Phase 2 Implemntation isn't going to be until November just like Phase 1 instead of the planned August. The plan will be reviewed by the public next month. CDTA had a private meeting on this future plan with Siena students and falculty don't know what happened. Let's just wait and see what happens. On other note, Troy's 4045H and 4063 are now in Albany, 9961 is still there, and Albany completely took over 4041H-4042H in exchange for 9901 and 3004. |

Why aren't CDTA buses using the bus bays inside the underground "tunnels"? they have to go through there anyway to turn around on that useless loop that by all rights should have connected to Henry Johnson Blvd/route 9! A way to kill the problem..could be routing all services to the Greyhound terminal..then ESP[daily until late evenings]..then onward to terminals in the Capital District.. |

This bus wasn't even assigned to it yet it just left a bus change due its original Nova being broke down. It's only the second day Albany had it and already something. I think Albany has the most breakdowns and Troy has the best buses. |

Well I just read yesterday the 20 new buses coming are 16 diesel and 4 Hybrid and they are intended to replace the NABI's and extend the life of the NOVA's. There are only 9 Orions left so they are definitely out of the picture now. |

Why are they replacing the NABI'S ? With the way the NOVA'S are dropping, they should keep the Orions & Nabi's around for spares. |

The NABI's have always been the red-headed stepchild of CDTA probably due to their smaller size. I think the only argument you can have for keeping the LFS's over them is capacity (an LFS has 8 more seats, a Gillig 9).Then again, put an NABI on any high ridership route and it'll become packed to the gills fast. |

A lot of drivers I know don't like the NABI's(Troy Drivers) and Orions(Albany Drivers). As far as now, NABI's are only on:2250 2251 2252 2253(depends) 2255(depends) 2940 2941 2942 2943(depends) 2910(depends) 2950 2951 2952 2953 3550(depends) 8001 8002 8040 8041 8240 8241 8210 8211 8251 8502 8503 8701 9040 28950 |

As somebody who had a fleet of trucks and had several of the same models, you get to know that each vehicle has it's own personality and that's what makes it good, acceptable or bad. |

It makes since travel wise but basically half of its service already got chopped when they spent 3 years restructuring their services. |
