What do you call a subway train that skips 2 or 3 local stops as a recurring pattern for a significant portion of the line? Limited? No. Express. So since most people are used to the subway lingo more than buses, you can't blame people who think that skip-stop patterns are called "Express". They should come up with some other names for the buses. Call the coach buses "Coach" or "Suburban" or "Commuter" or "Pampered". |
