"Of course B44 local after SBS survey is relevant when riders are complaining of four SBS buses arriving before a single local. Of course it is relevant when New York Avenue service was cut by 50 percent. Of course it is relevant when local riders complained of regular 40 minute waits. Waits that were so bad, SBS service had to be reduced and replaced by additional local service."

But they aren't looking at the B44 Local. They are looking at the B44 Select bus service. Convince them to commission a study on B44 local service if you want to evaluate B44 Local service.

"I would bet you that local passengers were surveyed but the satisfaction results showed such a high level of dissatisfaction with service, that the MTA chose not to publish it. That is the very definition of cherry picking your data. "

Regardless of what it shows, not releasing it is not cherrypicking, AS IT IS NOT RELEVANT TO THE TOPIC AT HAND.

"And where do you get the idea that the MTA is constantly surveying riders of ALL routes."
By being surveyed myself, multiple times.

"You do not even know the difference between a survey and a traffic count."
Ridiculous assertion. Absolutely false.

"Counting passengers getting on and off is NOT a survey. IT IS A TRAFFIC COUNT."
I am fully aware of such.

"The two are totally different types of measurements."
Correct. That is why I am referring to surveys, I talk about surveys and when I am referring to ridership statistics, I talk about ridership statistics.

"A SURVEY ASKS QUESTIONS."
Yes. But nobody has disagreed with this.

"But since you have no training in planning, I won't fault you for your ignorance."
As someone who can do basic arithmetic, has at least basic literacy, and can understand simple concepts such as how to run a study and what a variable is, I have substantially more effective training in planning than you do.
