About 100 are killed in car crashes every day. But I never said most drivers are bad... No. Risk of dying by being hit by a car in a given year. 1 in 47K. Risk of dying by being hit by lightning in a given year. 1 in 4370K. Lightning is roughly 100 times less likely. "Over 99 percent of the street crossings made every day by pedestrians are done without incident." That isn't very good. Luckily it is much higher. "That's millions of safe street crossings every day." And tens of thousands of unsafe street crossings too, assuming your numbers. Simply unacceptable. "That would never be the case if the streets were as dangerous as Vision Zero claim they are." Deaths due to unsafe drivers IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. PERIOD. Why are you incapable of understanding that? |
