"Definite or indefinite article has nothing to do with anything." It has a great deal to do with this. The fact that you do not know the difference is key to your misunderstanding of this issue. Speeding up buses is A reason for bus lanes. Speeding up buses is not THE reason for bus lanes. "Why do I waste my time with your utter nonsense and backtracking?"
