I remember taking an TNJ "R" job to Fort/Camp Drum up near Watertown NY. It had a leaky valve cover so it spit oil all over the back of the bus and on the 8 cylinder bus behind me. Then it started overheating on the way back with National Guardsmen from Queens. We got them there but the foreman faced my wrath the next day. (An "R" job was a 1961 SDM 6 cyl) |
