GMC bus, Detroit engine - both General Motors. That was what you lived with on those old 2-strokers. The 71- and 92-series engines were only killed off by the tougher emissions regs of the early 90s... otherwise, operators just accepted those oil leaks as a cost of doing business because the engines were otherwise very reliable. |
