I'd say the 42nd Street and 53rd Street corridors are about co-equal.Trouble with the E is that its backloads at both 34th and 42nd, and there is nothing that anyone can do about that. At least the #7 starts at Times Sq (or soon at Javits). It's rail (LIRR & NJT via Times Sq) and NJ bus commuters got on a nearly empty train. Not true with the E. |
