Most folks coming from NYP are getting the shuttle anyway. And yeah, the E is a nightmare in both directions from midtown east during rush hour (have you ever seen the Platform at Court Sq during morning rush!?). Still, that's an issue to deal with on the Manhattan side. On the Jersey side of it, we still have these bus routes that have demonstrated a need for a higher capacity solution. That's why I'm thinking more commuter rail tunnels into NYC is the best option over an expanded or relocated PABT. And if most of the midtown west development is commercial, NYP will be that much more convenient for more people. And downtown is still a viable option.
