Do you have ridership stats for the 49 and Silver Line?The Silver Line seems like a big waste of money. They spent a lot on fancy shelters that have no sides, and put up one inconspicuous sign per block making the right lane a bus lane on a street that doesn't have much traffic. And there's no prepaid fare collection. So it isn't much faster than what it replaced. The counterflow lane across the Mass Pike saves some time. But that was a very small part of the cost. |
