But I figured, today is Easter, ridership is lighter, how bad could it be?2:43pm N23 departure from RF already was crowded with a few standees by the time we got to Mineola Ave, then we pick up the load from the bus before us that broke down.  Going back was crowded also, with just a few seats left by RF. And today was a holiday with lighter ridership, next Sat&Sun are gonna be a mess. The N23 & 27 are busy on weekends with the hourly service, now they combine 2 crowded hourly routes into one. I knew the result...Veolia had someone at Roslyn and I told him what I thought of this change. None of the other riders were complaining, I guess Veolia is counting on that. This is the only change that made no sense at all, unless they add service on the N23 (should run every 30 min b/w Roslyn & HTC weekends). |
