Maybe if it's just a problem during the evening rush hour, you could tell NICE to add service just for that time period (however they want to do it. Extend a few N27 runs, add a couple of N23 runs, or send up an N40/41)In any case, I do agree with N6 that the bus was crowded, but a bus can only be considered "crushloaded" if people are squeezed together and can't get on. That bus is pretty much like what I have to deal with on the S46 with no missing buses (I mean, not every bus is like that, but during rush hour, I'd consider loads like that to be a regular thing). By the way, I found this article about additional funding. I wonder where it will go to (and I also wonder if N6 is the one who made the comment about keeping empty buses, which I agree with) http://blog.tstc.org/2012/04/06/state-budget-could-bolster-li-transit-systems/ |
