The routes that would receive/already have +SBS+ service are very cost-efficient: With a cost per passenger of less than $1.50 (except for the S79), and a farebox recovery ratio of over 75%. With the faster service cutting down on costs, the farebox recovery ratio should increase even further.By comparison, the average NYCT express route has roughly a 50% farebox recovery ratio. |
