The problem is that Floral Park STA and Bellerose STA aren't within city limits. So that wouldn't help people in Floral Park, Glen Oaks, Bellerose and those are people riding the QM1A.The only thing I hate about the express buses are the Cruisers, because they're overkill. There really isn't a place in the city Si included (not via NJ) where they can actually get up to a decent speed, there's just too much traffic. IMO regardless of their age MTA should have left the ex-LLE and NYBS Classics in service they were sufficient. They could have and should have just gotten more Orion 5 Suburbans or seeing as how MTA is hybrid crazed had Orion create an suburban O7. I do agree the the LIRR and MNRR fare system needs to be re-vamped. |
