What I said is that I didn't want the seats to be permanently removed from the cars that they'd be removing the seats from. What about off-peak hours and weekends? That's why I favor a flexible flip-up seating system if they really intend on implementing something like this.On the Brown, Red, and Blue lines there are eight car trainsets that are only used for weekday rush hour. Theoretically, the no seat cars would be entrained in these consists as "belly cars." This is what is done with cars that have BO cab signals. David Harrison |
