If you HAVE a ticket, no problemo ... they've gotten a bit stranger about it the last year or so. *****BUT***** if you go and hook up with the sheriffs and military BEFORE you wanna take pics, and show ID ... NO PROBLEMO! I've had the same experience even with CSX ... if you're WILLING to call them ahead of time, give them your info and tell them what you wanna do, not ONLY will they let you take pictures, they'll actually MEET you and drive you around to even BETTER shots than you'd EVER get trespassing ... even locomotive CONSOLE pix ... INSIDE the cab!

AMAZING things are possible if you're not a butthole, and make the effort to take the edge off as to your "intentions" ahead of time. Finest time I ever had was when Unca Ed (wrote the book, "They Moved Millions") came to visit in Selkirk and we went out into the Selkirk yard with impunity ... and an escort who actually ENJOYED the old "war stories."

And then you've got wiseasses who keep getting busted. Contrast and compare. Must be the water. :-\
