But not at Sutphin!Yes, it makes no sense! ANd THAT station SHOULD have Jamaica in it! It Should be Jamaica Station-Sutphin Blvd. Was Parsons/Archer the original name, or was it Jamaica Center, or was it both? (I think it was both but I'm not sure.) It was Jamaica Center (in the plans), but by the time it opened, it had the Parsons/Archer added to it. Some of the Rollsigns at the time just said "Jamaica Center", others had the Parsons/Archer on it too, I guess depending on when the rollsigns were put in the trains. Briarwood-Van Wyck should be simply called Main Street. Agreed, but then you get into the whole cover the mosaics with a metal black sign problem. |
